Blanket the World

If it’s February, then it’s time to “blanket the world with love”. Each year during the month of February we collect funds for Church World Service.

Every $10 donation provides a blanket. Last year 68,760 blankets were given to people around the world who lost their homes due to natural or man-made disasters. Blankets went to Houston after the freezing weather in Texas. Light-weight blankets went to homeless individuals in California. Blankets go to immigrants in Mexico and refugees in Tanzania.

You can make a donation by sending a check to FBCIA with blankets in the memo line, by using the donate button on our web site with “blankets” in the notes field, or by requesting your bank make a payment to FBCIA.
