Layettes for White Cross
During November we participate in White Cross. White Cross is a program through which American Baptists provide needed supplies to diversified ministries within the mission program of American Baptist Home Mission Societies (ABHMS) and International Ministries.
This year we will be providing layettes to Amos Health and Hope in Nicaragua. This mission founded by Drs. David and Laura Parajon serves the health needs of small villages in rural Nicaragua. You may provide complete layettes, money towards layettes or pieces of layettes.
Completed layettes can be brought to church on Saturday, November 14 or Sunday, November 15 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm during the no contact food drive. If you can not deliver your layette(s) on those days, please call the church office [454.3418] to see when you can drop it off at the church office. If you would like to make a monetary donation, you can send a check to the church, payable to FBCIA with “layette” in the memo line, or by clicking on the donate button on the homepage. After you decide how to pay, you can enter that the donation is for layettes.
