Sunday Forum – Project in Morocco
On Sunday, April 9 NJ Unako spoke on the Tizyane Community Design Project. He is working with the community to design and construct an hammam, a communal bathhouse where the people gathering once or twice per week to wash, sip tea, and catch up on the goings on in the community. The hope is that the hammam would be a zero waste construction allowing them to shrink their ecological footprint. During discussions with the women, it was also noted that they needed a place to do laundry, particularly in the colder months, so that was added to the project.
