SUNDAY FORUM Is Back With a Whole New Program!

Please join us at 10 am on Sunday 18th to hear about the programs for the fall and share any suggestions you may have for future forums. I have already invited a number of speakers so it would be good to have a strong attendance at the forum! Here are some scheduled upcoming forums as well as topics planned between now and Christmas.

Sunday September 18th.   An Introduction to Christian Nationalism ( Ruth Marris Macaulay)

We will look at  the issues surrounding those who  do not want the separation of church and state to continue and examine the arguments of Christians Against Christian Nationalism. We have a lot of materialsa on this topic and will do several forums in order to talk through the issues.

Sunday September 25th. Roger Williams & The Separation of Church & State ( Stan Lemons)

Stan will share with you Roger Williams’ beliefs about creating a separation between God’s garden ( the church) and the wilderness of the world. He will also talk about how the issue of church/state separation became embedded in the Constitution.

On Sunday I will give you more information about upcoming speakers and topics which will include a Bible Study of Romans and a Ukrainian Ameri can’s perspective on Ukraine’s history and humanitarian needs.
